The Bishop Peak Summit Trail is located in Central California in the beautiful city of San Luis Obispo. This is an awesome hike and one of the most popular trails in San Luis Obispo. The trail is labeled as moderate at 3.4 miles round trip and 1,131ft of elevation gain. It was cool running into a big family of wild turkeys along the way, which I totally wasn’t expecting. The hike has very amazing views of San Luis Obispo, Cerro de San Luis Obispo (Madonna Mountain), and Laguna Lake. I highly recommend this hike when visiting San Luis Obispo County.
